$100 — Texting Services

• Over half of all hotline contacts reach out through text messages. Your $100 gift will connect a troubled teen to help and hope by funding a hotline text conversation!
  

• Over 46,000 teens in crisis reach out for help by calling and texting our hotline. One in three of those teens have thoughts of suicide at the time of the call. Your $250 donation will fund us to take that life-saving call!

• In Arizona, one in four high school students have thoughts of suicide. Your $500 donation will fund one classroom presentation for teens to learn how to spot the warning signs of suicide in themselves and others.

• As a key influence in a teen's life, it's important to equip parents with the knowledge and tools to better support their teens. Your $1,000 donation will fund education for parents on youth suicide prevention, communicating with their teens, and building resiliency.
  

• When a teen needs help, they're more likely to turn to another teen before reaching out to an adult. Your $2,500 donation will train a new teen Peer Counselor to be a super hero providing a connection of hope to 450+ struggling teens on the hotline each year.

• Virtual trainings provide many schools with suicide prevention education when in-person training is not feasible. Your $5,000 donation will fund one virtual training for 30 school staff on youth suicide prevention and how to intervene with students at risk for suicide.
  

• Provide ongoing support to teens after a psychiatric emergency. Your $10,000 donation will fund a portion of our Caring Contacts program, where teen peer counselors reach out through calls, letters, and care packages to offer encouragement, connection, and hope. Teens are contacted 24–48 hours after discharge and periodically over the following year, including on birthdays and important anniversaries. These caring messages help teens reintegrate into everyday life, provide opportunities to talk openly and confidentially about their feelings, and connect them with personalized resources for themselves and their families.
